NASSIM GEAGEA

Born and raised in Beirut, Nassim is currently a US-based Director of Photography with over 10 years of experience in the field.

 

Nassim studied Film & Communications at Université Antonine and began his career as Best Boy Lighting and Grip at the age of 18. Over the years, he grew into 2nd then 1st AC allowing him to acquire the skills and experiences to be the DP he is today.  As a 1st AC and Camera Operator, Nassim collaborated closely with local and international cinematographers on projects such as Top Chef MENA with MBC. Working as a freelancer has given him the opportunity to experience a larger range of projects that have taken him to countries such as Cuba, Mexico, Poland, Egypt, Morocco, UAE, KSA, Qatar.

 

Nassim’s work as a Director of Photography encompasses short films, documentaries, commercials and shows. One of his latest works Omé has won awards at the Richmond International Film Festival, Malmo

Arab Film Festival and Tampere Film Festival among others. 

 

He continues to refine his interest in high-speed filming and analogue photography. Nassim hopes to expand the diversity of his portfolio and seeks new and impactful experiences.
